Insurance
Dear Athletes,
As we are approaching to the race day, we would like to remind you of sending a valid health certificate, signed by a sport's physician and a valid insurance for the day of the race (20.1.12).
The certificated approvals can be sent only between 1.12.11-12.1.12 in the E-mail to the address: "insurance@israman.co.il
As it is being sent, please note the number of participant you have received when registered (appears on our website under start list") and the race course you will take part in.

the medical insurance is a basic one, approving that you are qualified to do the race. the insurance policy should cover the race day.
Please send it as soon as possible.

Dear Israman Athletes
The 20th of January is approaching and there is an uncertainty regarding the biking course on route 12.
The uncertainty is due to the latest political events. You, as athletes, and we, as organizers, are consciously aware to the difficulty of that uncertainty.
As for now, all government authorities are insisting that the biking course will take place on route 12, as originally planned. All the authorities and government officials involved are doing their best to ensure that route 12 will be open before the race date on the 20th January 2012. There is an alternative biking route that was planned and will be approved by the police, if necessary.
The alternative is biking on route 90 (substantially less climbing involved). Route 90 is actually the highway leading straight to Eilat itself. Two out of the four lanes will be devoted and secured by the police only for the race itself. We would like to stress out that the decision whether to bike on route 12 or not, is not in the hand of the organizers but solely under the responsibility of government official authorities. The final date to declare of our decision will be the 20th of December 2011.
We would recommend, at that point, concentrating on regular training and mental preparation rather than dealing with guessing and altering training plans.
We do our best to reach a decision prior to the 20th of December.

Transfer participation number
An athlete who have payed and received a participation number and would like to transfer its participation number to someone else, will have to send a request which includes his full name, number of participation and details of his replacement person.

The athlete who wants to pass his participation number will contact "shvoong"'s office accounting department by phone and will confirm that the exchange has been carried properly.
The changing fee is 100 shekels and it will be charged upon the phone process.
The whole procedure will end on December 1st 2011. After that date there will be no extensions.
